Flint Islamic Center Youth Group to host Day of Dignity, give away free clothing, hygiene kits

FLINT, Michigan — The Flint Islamic Center Youth Group will host the Day of Dignity in downtown Flint beginning at 11 a.m. Oct. 1.
The group will give out free items including clothing, hygiene kits, meals and school supplies to families with children as long as supplies last. There also will be medical services and social service resources, according to information from the group.
Children must be present in order to receive the items or services, according to information from the group.
The event will be held in the parking lot at the corner of Saginaw and Kearsley streets.
